The rule is three days for a cake, a week for a colour-matched or heavily piped one. The only twist is that Saturday does not count, because nothing is baked or iced that day.

Here is how a Sunday cake actually falls into place:

1. Wednesday — send your message: date, guest number, flavour, and the words you want piped on top.
2. Same day — you get an answer and a price in forint. Prices are quoted per order.
3. Thursday and Friday — the cake is baked, filled, coated and iced by hand.
4. Sunday — it is delivered to your door, or you collect it from Erzsébet krt. 19.
